Warming the Hearts of Our Elders Blanket and Sock Drive Underway

Community members can donate blankets and socks through Oct. 29 at several drop-off locations throughout Meridian and Lauderdale County. Organizers will visit nursing homes on Friday, Nov. 6, to distribute the donated items.

This year’s drive is being held in honor of Willie Lee Ball and will include a live performance by Chance Evins and photography by Mil’s Memories.
