PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating after a woman was found dead inside a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded shortly after 4:15 p.m. to a convenience store parking lot on Holland Avenue, according to Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons.
When officers arrived, they found a woman dead inside a parked vehicle who looked to be about 40 years old.
Lyons said the investigation remains active and ongoing. Investigators do not suspect foul play at this time.
The woman’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
