Spooky Ale Trail Returns to Downtown Meridian This Halloween

MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Downtown Meridian is set to transform into a haunted haven for beer lovers and Halloween enthusiasts as the Spooky Ale Trail returns on October 31.

The Halloween night event invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy “spirited sips and eerie delights” from 5 to 10 p.m. as participants make their way through some of downtown’s most popular restaurants and bars.

The evening begins at Fare on Eighth, where entry is free, and concludes at Spacey’s at 10 p.m. Along the way, attendees can sample ales, cocktails, and mocktails, enjoy small bites, and soak in the festive atmosphere of Meridian’s historic district.

Participating locations include Aie’s Taste of Thai, Aura 5, Boxcar Rooftop Restaurant, Brickhaus Brewtique, Don P’s Taste of the Bayou, Harvest Grill, Queen City Cigar, The Island 601, Threefoot Brewing, Weidmann’s, and more. Several venues will also feature live music throughout the evening.

Adding to the fun, the “Ales & Tails” Dog Costume Contest will take place at the Threefoot Brewery Beer Garden starting at 7 p.m., with registration beginning at 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place. All proceeds from the contest will benefit the Meridian Animal Shelter.

Organizers encourage participants to dress in costume, bring friends, and complete the ale trail for a chance to win door prizes.
