MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Meridian Community College will welcome Baseball Hall of Famer Chipper Jones to campus on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, for Legends of the Game: A Night With Chipper Jones, a marquee event supporting MCC Baseball as part of the program’s annual fundraising efforts.
The Main Event will take place from 7–8:30 p.m. in the McCain Theater, where Jones will sit down with MCC head baseball coach Dillon Sudduth for an in-depth conversation about key moments from his celebrated career. Organizers say the program will give fans a rare, behind-the-scenes look at Jones’ life on and off the field. The evening will also include a welcome video, the introduction of the 2025–26 MCC baseball team, and a Q&A session with Jones.
Ahead of the public event, exclusive VIP experiences will be held at the MCC Baseball Field for VIP ticketholders. Activities begin at 5 p.m., when one raffle winner—drawn the day before and announced on MCC social media—will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play catch with Jones. The Hall of Famer will meet with local media at 5:15 p.m., followed by a VIP social in the MCC baseball locker room at 5:30 p.m.
VIP guests will receive a private photo with Jones, pre-signed memorabilia — with no outside items allowed — as well as food, drinks, and time with the MCC baseball team. VIP tickets are already sold out.
Remaining ticket options include:
