MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)- The following streets are closed for the remainder of the day to allow line maintenance crews to complete critical work safely.
Closures include 23rd Avenue between 26th Street and 31st Street, and 10th Avenue between 20th Street and 21st Street.
The work is being coordinated by the city’s Line Maintenance Department under the direction of Public Works Director David Hodge. Officials said the areas are considered sensitive work zones and are asking the public to avoid the area if possible, follow posted signage, and use caution to ensure the safety of crews and the public.
City officials thanked residents for their patience and cooperation as the work continues.
