TOOMSUBA, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)- A portion of Knox Road in Toomsuba will temporarily close beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, as crews replace a cross-drain pipe, according to the Lauderdale County Road & Bridge Department.
The closure will allow workers to complete the drainage improvement project aimed at enhancing roadway safety and performance.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route during the closure. Emergency services and other relevant departments have been notified, officials said.
Updates will be provided once the roadway has reopened.
