Kemper County authorities seek man wanted in connection with apartment complex shooting

Authorities identified the suspect as Antonio Lamont Johnson Jr., also known as “Lil Tony.”

The sheriff’s office said Johnson is wanted in connection with the shooting, which happened April 27 at the apartment complex.

Authorities warned the public not to approach Johnson if he is seen.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Kemper County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 601-743-2255 or call 911.

The sheriff’s office said all tips will remain confidential.
