DE KALB, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)— An ongoing drug investigation has resulted in another arrest, the Kemper County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Alton Gordon was arrested and charged with six counts of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.
Authorities said the charges stem from “an extensive multi-jurisdictional narcotics investigation that began in 2025”.
Gordon’s arrest followed an enforcement operation conducted the previous week. Partner agencies involved in the case include the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, the Philadelphia Police Department, and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
“The investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests are expected,” the sheriff’s office said.
