LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported six inmate bookings between 7:44 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, and 7:43 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2026.
According to the department’s booking report, the following individuals were booked Oct. 29:
- Dustin Kyle Underwood — Charged with failure to register under the sex offender registration law.
- Nathan Jamar Boyd — Charged with controlled substance violations.
- Curtis Mitchell Woods — Charged with first-offense driving under the influence and failure to maintain motor vehicle liability insurance. Both charges were listed under the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
- Samantha Louise Gallagher — Charged with a controlled substance violation involving selling, transferring, distributing or possessing.
- Jason Dean Vick — Charged with disturbing the family.
- Joseph Cardele Smith — Charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, failure to have a vehicle under control and failure to make required child support payments.
Inmate Releases
According to the department’s release information, the following individuals were released Oct. 29:
- Curtis Mitchell Woods — Booked and released Oct. 29, 2026.
- Joni Acosta — Booked Sept. 24, 2026, and released Oct. 29, 2026.
