MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)— The 23rd Annual Soulé Live Steam Show will return to Meridian on Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7, offering visitors a chance to experience the sights and sounds of early 20th-century industrial machinery.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at the historic Soulé Steam Feed Works, recognized as America’s last intact steam engine factory.
The annual show demonstrates how products were manufactured and the labor involved in industrial work during the early 1900s.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see engines operating using real steam rather than compressed air, providing an authentic look at the machinery that helped shape America’s industrial history.
The event attracts visitors from across the United States and other countries and offers an educational experience for all ages.
