LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — JW Reynolds Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, Nov. 9, as the Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department replaces two 60-inch cross pipes.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Monday, with the road expected to reopen at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Motorists are encouraged to use Sam Goodman Road and Mosley Lake Road as alternate routes around the construction area.
The Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department is urging drivers traveling near the work zone to slow down, use caution and watch for workers and heavy equipment.
Drivers should plan ahead, allow extra travel time and use alternate routes when possible.
