Clark County, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)- The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Department of Child Services, has arrested two individuals following a two-week investigation into child endangerment involving illegal drug activity.
Danielle Brown and Donavin Nelson were taken into custody as a result of the investigation. Nelson was arrested on June 9, 2025, on an outstanding warrant for the sale of a controlled substance. Brown was charged with child endangerment due to the presence of a minor during the sale, manufacture, or possession of illegal substances or their precursors.
Authorities executed a search warrant on June 11 at a residence located at 158 Woodland Drive in Stonewall, with assistance from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department.
The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office said it remains dedicated to protecting the community and enforcing laws that ensure the safety and well-being of children and families.
