CLARKE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Emergency crews responded Monday afternoon, June 16, to a fatal motorcycle accident on Highway 11 near Basic City, according to Clarke County Hot Topics.
The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, local volunteer fire departments, Clarke County Emergency Management, and state troopers with the Mississippi Highway Patrol were on scene assisting with the crash investigation. The Clarke County coroner and an accident reconstructionist with MHP also responded to the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Officials are asking the public to keep the victim’s family in their thoughts. Additional details will be provided as they become available.
