Mayor Percy Bland’s Recent Visit to the 136th Neshoba County Fair
Mayor Percy Bland recently attended the 136th Neshoba County Fair, participating in one of Mississippi’s most cherished traditions and engaging with leaders, citizens, and friends from across our state.
Throughout his time at the fairgrounds, Mayor Bland had the opportunity to reconnect with longtime friends, renew valued relationships, and foster meaningful new connections. These visits served as a powerful reminder of the shared commitment among leaders in our region to move Mississippi forward — together.
“The Neshoba County Fair is more than just a celebration — it’s a meeting ground for ideas, collaboration, and community,” Mayor Bland said. “I’ve had countless meaningful conversations with individuals from every corner of our region. There is a greater sense of unity and purpose in our work than ever before.”
Mayor Bland emphasized that the connections built and renewed at the fair will help strengthen ongoing efforts in Meridian and beyond, particularly in areas of regional collaboration, public safety, economic development, and efficient governance.
As always, the Mayor’s Office remains committed to fostering cooperation among cities and counties across Mississippi and continuing the work that delivers real results for the people of Meridian and the entire region.
