Join us for a special conversation with Alana Broughton, Executive Director of the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation, as she shares the mission behind Keeping Time — an upcoming event dedicated to preserving Meridian’s rich musical heritage.
Keeping Time invites community members to bring photographs, memorabilia, and stories related to Jimmie Rodgers, Elsie McWilliams, the Jimmie Rodgers Festival, and Meridian’s train and music history. Each item will be digitized and preserved as part of the Mississippi Digital Library, ensuring our cultural legacy is saved for future generations.
