LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. — A section of Causeyville Road will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 28, while crews replace a cross pipe, according to the Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department.
The closure will affect the 6211 block of Causeyville Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“The roadway will be temporarily closed to through traffic while crews complete the cross-pipe replacement,” the department stated. “Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use an alternate route during the closure”.
County officials also reminded drivers traveling near the work area to exercise care: “If traveling near the work zone, please SLOW DOWN, use extreme caution, and watch for workers and heavy equipment”.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these necessary roadway improvements,” the department said.
